Hello I have question regarding the above subject topic

What is the purpose of the 30 Sd at column 2, 1.2 Sd at column 2, and 25 Sd at column 4?

Are this values use for metric and english conversion? if yes please explain.

Thanks in advance

Read the small print (expaining the table )

bThe term Sd in Columns 2 and 4 is equal to the sum of the diameters, in mm, of all cables 107.2 mm (in inches, of all 4/0 AWG) and larger multiconductor cables in the same cable tray with smaller cables.

Thanks cpal for the reply

I saw the explanation but im curious in how they got the values of 30 & 1.2 as the multiplier factor for the Sd (sum of the diameters).
