Does anyone have the current approved NEC year for the state of Florida?
I sent email to the Local County electrical inspector and he did not reply to email. Does Florida have a license or is it all NICET certification.
I Just retired from the military and would like to work on becoming an electrician/Fire Alarm service Tech.
I was an electricianmate in the Coast Guard and held a State of Michigan Journeyman's Electrical License for four year 1985 - 1989. After that I was transferred out of the state; my job in the Coast Guard did not allow me to keep my license. New job, new state and did not pursue it.
I am currently working with Hiller Systems in Pensacola FL. I am new to this forum and it is great, it has already helped me, I was up untill 1230 last night reading the Low voltage postings.
