We have pole lights fed with 480v and a contractor installed a close circuit camera on 2 poles using 120v and low voltage for the camera. Is there a code violation to run these voltages without a seperation or in at least liquid tight for protection right up to the camera?

Re: NEC

Separation is required. A metal lighting pole is considered a raceway, see 410.15(B)
Section 725.55 (A) requires seperation.
If some one quotes section 300.3(C), please review section 90.3 first. This is assuming your "low voltage" is a class 2 or 3 power limited circuit, or coax.

Re: NEC

I have run raceways up inside the poles for cameras.

Good luck trying to do it and meet the rules for support. ;)

The best idea is separate poles for security cameras.
