This is from their catalog on their website (Unistrut's website, that is):







Unistrut channel is listed by Underwriters' Laboratories as a surface metal raceway. Snap-in closure strip is used to complete the raceway. Accessory parts listed by Underwriters are noted on drawings.

I have used it as a raceway a number of times, mostly in industrial facilities.

With the particular manufacturers componets and plates you can install devices in it.

Are you kinding me!!! And I thought a cut in Box was tight.

Whats the derating on that, does one only use 40% ?

Take a look at 384.22 for the number of conductors permitted in strut type channel raceway.;)

We use the Kindorf raceway quite often for lighting in commercial and industrial buildings. Almost the same as the Unistrut stuff.
