I have never seen a fox exit sign. But I think they tend to be a little on the short side a far a quadrupeds go so I wouldn't mount it too high.

Just joking, as stated above, there is no NEC rule about mounting height but the Fire Marshal will catch it on his inspection.

The best way to be cetains is to call the Local Fire Marshal's Office because they have juridiction. I normally center over the door but when that's not possible for some reason I try to get a local ruling.

Hey I don't have a copy of those. I was wondering if there wasa some basic heights.
Anyone know about the code requireing them to be low to the floor?

Junction Box sizing software??

Junction Box sizing software??

Does anyone know of software to size Junction Boxes??
Sorry for the insert here, but there was no way to put this thread in the NEC or Electrical Eng. forums....they were all 'Closed'....

Thanks in advance
