Not sure what that link you spoke up is for and where you are seeing that. All I know as of now is that I have both 2011 NEC Code Book and 2011 NEC Hand Book.

Sounds like you meant to quote jumper's reply.
I believe he is saying that your jurisdiction is under 2008 compliance. Referencing 2011 is not advisable.
