Need 70E help

I got a call yesterday afternoon from a friend who is an attorney. She has a client in western Michigan who is looking to upgrade their electrical and protective procedures and equipment. Sounds like a decent sized manufacturing facility. Anyone know of a person/company capable of helping them out? If you want, you can PM me and I'll pass the information on to her.

In this day and age, it's nice to see somebody willing to spend some money to protect their people.

the comapany I work for had no trouble spending money to implement 70E, I have more problems with the trade folks....especially when it comes to wearing the PPE we purchased for them. I know its a culture change and I have to say we are making progress, but I was amaised at the resistance we had to 70E.

We saw the same thing, many of our older people had a hard time accepting the newer rules. We spend a few hundred K a year on our safety program.

I am finishing up a year long 70E project for a client. At this point, the group that is fighting us the most is their Safety Department. Maybe they don't like all the work they will need to do in creating and maintaining an Electrical Safe Work Practices program. I wonder if they thought 70E was just about putting labels on equipment and purchasing PPE, instead of becoming a 'way of life'.
