Need help in article 230.95A

Hi,

Can anyone please help me understand the NEC article 230.95A. What does "the maximum setting of the ground fault protection shall be 1200A" means.

The ground fault protection device is adjustable as to the pickup current level and the amount of time delay. These are user set levels typically decided by the engineer. They look like this:
