I was reading through the language for table 314.16(B) about the 'Volume Allowance Required per Conductor'. Trying to understand and comparing with the Canadian Electrical Code, since in CEC, the language describing the table felt like it has a different understanding of the language. CEC stated as 'Usable Space Required for each Insulated Conductor'. Do you think it's the same understanding? If it differs, any thoughts and advise on how to approach? On the job that I am doing now, there are requirements to meet NEC, CEC, UL and CUL. Does NEC meant Volume that shall be used by each conductor, or is it Volume leftover for each conductor? confused and a bit frazzled.
