I'm wiring a store. It's going to be a juice/smoothie bar. I'm adding 24 circuits. Many of them are dedicated. The previous store had very few circuits. Just some troffer lighting, 3 receptacle circuits, and 2 RTU's. We are keeping all of that. It's a big three phase panel. There is no main in the panel and I haven't gotten access to the electrical room yet so I don't know its total amps.
The plan review guy said "Provide load calculations of existing panel to show that additional loads will not cause the existing panel to become overloaded per article 220"
I'm confused as to how to do the calculation. I see all kinds of calcs listed in 220. Not sure which sections apply. Do I use multiple sections?
