I'm looking for a time delay relay, time delay open for a contactor control circuit. Need 208 coil if possible and TD set in mins. Having no luck with suppliers and Google. I know they exists, any one have a lead?
Thanks

Take a look at a NAIS PM5S Timer. It will perform any timing function & pretty much does not care what the control voltage is.

If you want a more traditionl timer, Agastat makes electropneumatic timers. Look at the 7000 series.

Personally I prefer the Omron H3CA-A timer. 24 to 240 VAC, 12 to 240 VDC. Most any time delay between 0.1 seconds and 9990 hours. On delay, off delay, recycle, etc.

Usually available on eBay for around $35.00. I have bought over a dozen over the years, have several with over 10 years of continuous usage, no failures.

I like the SSAC TRDU series as it will do most any timing function that you want and it is available with a 240 volt coil.

Personally I prefer the Omron H3CA-A timer.

Little more detail;

Operator will push a momentary start button sending 208V to TD relay.
TD relay closes sending 208V to contactor coil.
After selected delay in mins TD relay opens and contactor opens.

Looks like the above relay will work, yes?

You will need to maintain voltage to this relay. Use a "Dry contact" for your input. At closure of input, the timer will operate the load contacts of the timer.

Best to set this up on a workbench prior to install. There are a LOT of options with this timer and they need to be set correctly.

Also, be very careful about the amount of current the circuit will draw. For DC applications, the contact rating is severely reduced. I have seen countless timer relays burned out because the contact rating was exceeded in a DC circuit. The timer circuit was used to turn on several DC lights when the AC power went out. The contacts of the relay welded shut after a few On/Off cycles.

FYI most relay manufacturers have pretty good parametric search capability on their websites.
Digikey has one too but they may not have the load ratings you're looking for.
