The architect doesn't appear to want to install floor boxes for new open style computer work desks. He says powered from skirting.

The exterior wall is glass panel type so can't install receptacles/data outlets.

What is the best way, install power/data surface mounted raceway along the bottom of the glass wall framing? See pics.

If what I'm looking at is already constructed then, surface mount EMT to a Wiremold power strip is probably the best you can do.

Power poles at storage ends, the can buy taller storage to help hide the poles.
Or wifi and a big battery source that gets plugged in at night. Battery pack in one of the storage drawers.

Thank you for your help. Looks like we are going with floor boxes for furniture feed per architect. These are basically always poke thru's core drilled to the floor below?

Which fire rating do you specify 1 or 2? I'll just guess 2 to be safe

Go with the Steam Punk look; 3/4" RGC at table-height supported by floor flanges and T conduit bodies. Put the outlets in FD boxes with 2 inlets. Then the passers-by will have something to look at through the window other than the office workers chained to their tables.
