We have a metal NEMA 1 wire way of approx 4”x4” installed OUTDOORS.
The wiring within is multiconductor TC rated 90C wet or dry.
The entire installation is vendor supplied and UL listed and per 110.3(B) we are supposed to utilize it as supplied.
However this seems inconsistent with NEC 376.10.
Thoughts?

It seems more like a cable tray than wire way

If the equipment is UL listed for installation outside, I think that's all that needs to be verified. And if that's the case, there isn't any reason to be looking at parts and pieces of the equipment with a magnifying glass.

Besides all the other misgivings, NEMA 1 is going to rust like crazy.
I'm not sure it will. I see a lot of outdoor panels that look like they are made from the same painted steel that indoor panels are made from.

And dry transformers seem to have the same thing, but they are often installed outside.

I'm sure it won't rust faster than galvanized steel that is often specified for use outside. Rust may be ugly, but its not necessarily a safety concern.
