We are to install Nema 6P stainless steel junction boxes due to possible submersion. Must there be threaded taps in the enclosure or are there other connectors that are rated to maintain the 6P or IP68 rating. Then we can make our own knockouts wherever they are needed.
I have not found any connectors, liquid Tite or hubs or any other connectors that are rated for 6P or IP68 ratings.
I have seen enclosures rated Nema 6p made from stainless steel, aluminum, polycarbonate and they do not have built in threaded taps.
What do you use or how do you maintain the Nema 6P or IP68 rating.
