NESC Equipment Grounding Conductors

Does anyone know if the NESC has a requirement similar to NEC? If so, can you share it?

250.118 Types of Equipment Grounding Conductors.
The equipment grounding conductor run with or enclosing
the circuit conductors shall be one or more or a combina-
tion of the following:

I looked this subject some years ago. My takeaway was the NESC was a performance requirement, ie create a low impedance fault path (user designs) and the NEC is prescriptive, ie how it’s done (250.118).

Most NESC systems used the grounded conductor for the fault clearing path.
