Networking in Seattle, WA

I trying to setup something bewteen business owners, electricians in the Seattle, Washington area. I was thinking about meeting once a month for breakfast/lunch to discuss whats going on in town. Does this sound good to anybody?

You might get in touch with the Electric League. They have monthly meetings in Seattle already, its inspectors, electricians, mfgs, etc.

I belonged to an organization in my area once upon a time that did the same thing. It is incredibly tough to get a group of more than just a few guys together on a regular basis. Particularly working owners who work in the field every day. Just my 2cents.

Each county in my area has a contractor meeting every month. They have it on different days of the week to keep them open to people from more than one county. We also have an IAEI meeting once a month. I go to all of them and it is definitely important and worth it to try and put this together.
Just remember that anything that is worth it, is worth the effort it takes to put together. It will take time and effort.
