neutral bonding in transformers

Under what condition is it necessary to bond the neutral to ground in a transformer, or is it always necessary?. The system primarys are 277/480v, secondarys are 120/208v, no iso.

WOW!! guess you can tell this is my first time to your wonderful web site here. "After" asking my question, I went through some of the archives and found not only the answer to my question, but a huge collection of interesting discussions on that very topic. Before asking any other questions of you guys, I think I'll take a couple of months and pour over the tons of info. here..... Thanks for such a fantastic and informitive web site... Mark

Yes, the vast majority of 208Y/120V. secondaries of transformers would need "earth","X0", & "frame" to be intimate with each other.

neutral to grnd bond is at the trans. or first panel from on secondary but not both
