ur local utility lets us bolt our neutal lugs to the inside of the ct cabinet.Usually we have one lug facing up and one facing down.The lugs are connected together with the same hardware.I was on a job the other day and a electrician installed the lugs separately bolted to the can.the lugs were roughly two inches apart.I told the man that was improper as the can would pass the current from one lug to the other through the can.This is considered objectionable currents.let me know your feelings.
