Never seen this type of meter

I was going to just pull a meter for an hour to pull new SEC's to move a service panel up about a footand a half. It is way too low, and I told them it would not be a big deal since the panel is fed entirely from the top. BUT...This meter has a small gold tab on it I have not seen. It is LCD readout and is suspended on 4 stablock wire supports that bite into some plastic red base. I just wondered if anyone had seen these types.
 
Yes, I've seen them, the application is a for a anti-theft, and now acts as a seat for the meter as well, its a two for one....

I think they have finally caught up,by design.

The digital meter might well be the latest and have proximity broadcasting for the reading of the meters.
 
i will call it in, and stand there while he takes it off. I think it will be some contraption needed to remove it, not to mention that little gold tab thingy.
