new appliances

My current project has double everything - and in a few cases 4 of a few items.
2 washers
2 dryers with steam - the water supply was a shocker to the plumber.
2 steam units 9 +11 kw
Only one sauna
1 elevator
1 AC unit
1 pool
1 hot tub
2 ovens
2 dish washers
5 garbage disposals
4 insta-hots
4 microwaves
4 wine coolers
one refriderated wine room
2 sub-zero's
4 entertainment racks
3 projection TV's
8 small LCD TV's in various locations
full array of work-out equipment @ 1.5kw each

Still don't know what size service it will end up being.... I wish the code book had diversity factors for how many people actually live in the single family dwelling - because really what are the chances they use it all at once????
 
I've noticed lately that dishwashers are now coming with a cord and plug factory wired, also just installed an oven at the boss's house that had a water line run to it. Plumber had never seen that before either, he thought I was crazy telling him he needed a water line ran to it.

Some people set their houses up like this so caterers, etc can cook on site for them when they throw parties.
 
I don't see a problem, just sub it out to one of these guys

I am betting these are the smaller 120v 1500watt units not the big ass east coast stile 7500watters.

No waiter, but they do have a maid and house man/go-fer. I often say any window with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge adds .5M these are bays and larger soooooo... For a remodel the electrical alone is 7 digits. I'm trying to stay in the 400 3 phase delta with some transformers, but might make it to 600 wye. The point is that we have to count appliances @ 100% - where an Engineer would not have to. And boy do they add up. The AV guy has 12+ dedicated circuits that I have to count as the whole circuit VA until he spits out what will really be on them - which is like pulling teeth. I asked for how many watts his stuff was and got a reply of 'roughly 80w per channel'... :rolleyes::mad:
