I am supervising a project and during the rough-in inspection, the elec inspector said that since there were existing receptacles below the storefront windows they were required to have receptacles above the windows every 12'. Is this correct? If so, could someone direct me to the code in the NEC book so I can document this to the owner. He thinks this is a frivelouse extra. Thanx
