Has any one heard if house bill 09-1136 was signed into law by the Governor?

I attend the meeting with DORA last fall regarding the new changes coming to our license renewals but have heard nothing of how we the renewal process will be and if we are going to have to go in for a sit down test for renewal?
HOUSE BILL 09-1136 BY REPRESENTATIVE(S) Soper, Apuan, Casso ...

I heard from an IEC instructor that it would be an online test with time limits etc. as opposed to the mail out test that they had last year. I hope they don't make it too hard. My brain still hurts from my j-man's test on May 4..

Just guessing , but most likely it will be class room hours attended with out a test.
Unless it is given on the internet. Then you will read a paragraph and the qusestion and aswer will be in that paragraph.
With a couple of load calculations.
This yea in NC half is a test if you do it on line for 4 hours credit. You must do the other 4 hours at an approoved continuing education class.

It might change next year...

I had to renew both my Colorado Masters and Journeyman's licenses in 2009. It was not a mail in test as in years before and was done over the internet. There was a time limit on it. It was tougher than tests in the past. I wouldn't think that it would be a come in and sit down test. To much of an effort for just a renewal not to mention the electricians who live in other states that keep their licenses current for Colorado.
