Does the NEC allow exterior receptacles in new residential homes (Florida) to be on the same circuit as the receptacles in the bedrooms? I'm seeing this as a common occurrence in new construction homes recently. Please advise? TIA

Yes. More accurately, the NEC doesn't prohibit exterior receptacles on a bedroom circuit.

For code minimum houses that's what I do. If the customer wants extras that's a common one. If it's outside a garage man door I come off the garage. Before it being prohibited it was common to have the garage circuit feed all the outdoor outlets. If someone is footing the extra they usually also want not just 1 dedicated outdoor outlet circuit but specific ones for various uses.
