New construction residential garage light trips kitchen gfci intermittent

We just finished a new construction residential home. When I turn on the interior garage lights the kitchen gfci trips about one out of every hundred tries. The garage lights and the kitchen receptacles are 2 different circuits. The lamps in the garage ceiling were type A compact florescent lamps. I just changed them to LED type A's to see if this would go away. Could the problem have been electromagnetic interference? This is really odd. Can someone please help.

Thanks

Is kitchen gfci breaker type or receptacle ?

Higher possibility it is EMI if breaker type gfci.

Possibly the neutral of that lighting circuit, which is connected to the neutral bar in your panel. The GFCI could be sensing harmonics on the neutral bus. Have you tried replacing the outlet? Does the problem persist with the new LED light?

I've had a couple gfci recepts act erratically (make loud buzzing sound, probably something with the holding circuit) when changing speed of paddle fan wall speed controls.

Turned out when I changed out the gfci recept the problem went away in my instances.

Had fluorescent light over kitchen sink tripping GFCI receptacle beside sink. Different circuits. I forget if problem occurred when turning light on or off, would trip about half the time.

Changed out GFCI receptacle and problem went away.
