New contactor

I have a new contactor Honeywell DP1030A 5014 to put in AC unit the 24 volt hookups are on the side of it. The old one was Honeywell R8242A 1206 all the 24 volt terminals are on the front 2 wires hooked up on right side and one on the other does it matter how they are hooked up on new one
