We now have a feature that can alert another member that you responded to their thread. This is not meant to be used regularly but rather on an occasions. For example, if there is a thread that was started yesterday and no one has posted in it for a day and you have some good info. In this case you may want to give the poster a heads up that you have responded to them, in case, they miss it.
