Greetings folks!
Naturally regretted this pretty quick, but stopped in to the Big Orange. Grabbed an LED outside light, by "Cooper".
First time experiencing the "no wires" from the fixture; replaced w a molex type of connector.
Problem is, one has to bend the supply wires almost 90 degrees.
I'll try to post a pic of the connector. Hope it posts OK. It's orange in the pic.
It's a 2 part connector, so that you can take 1/2 of it out, for install. It's the upper left of the pic, located inside the gasket circle. Not sure how I feel about this connector.
Main issue was the diameter of the fixture is larger than the standard issue outside octagonal box, so can't surface mount (not weather tight).
Yup.... one can cut hole to recess the box, or use old work box, etc. Lots of work.
Instructions state... "optional" plate for surface mount, not included. And Naturally, store doesn't carry it.
Ugg.... returned.

HA!
Shows how frequently I've bought them.
Not too crazy on the design of those. Guess manufacturers get out of using that little bit of copper for short wires.
