Here is the situation. I have a aircraft hanger that is being built. The service was overhead head to build a hanger over the poles. The four existing meters feed 2 - 200 amp hangers, 1-100 amp hanger and 1 -100 amp fuel farm. I used the existing meter cans as a junction box and made splices and piped over to a new ganged meter pack. All the existing panels had neutals and grounds seperated and ground rods and building steel was attached. The fuel farm I placed a new panel and disconnect and drove new ground rods for ( had to move because it was all on a pole). The inspector said I had to drive ground rods at my new meter panel and bond the neutral to the ground and attach building steele. Is this correct All the panels have ground rods have been bonded and hit building steele already. Why would I hve to do this twice. Just confused.
