Palm Beach County .. New owner of a condo wants to move in .. No Puck. ..Calls FPL and she lets them know she is the new owner, install the puck and give her power .. They tell her ,, " We have a new code, you must have a certified electric contractor install a new meter " Pull permits , get it inspected and we will restore power .. The units are 27 - 30 years old ,,, Gated community with apx. 21 units per building ... There has never been ANY fire , hurricane , vandalism, to the buildings or the meter rooms ?????
