new gfci w/label saying...

not good for damp or wet loactions. Went to the Leviton site and couldn't find another type gfci used for damp or wet locations. Last month, the gfci's we were getting didn't have this label on them. I ask'd at our supply house and they had no clue. Is ather a new gfci now ? And I'm just taking about the standard duplex style device.

The 2008 NEC requires recep. outside to be weather resistant. P&S makes a weather resistant GFCI. 406.8(B)

I am still on 05" so pardon my ignorance(even though I have the 08') I thought the 'WR' requirement was dropped from the code, or is it that most jurisdictions didn't adopt that part?

I guess it depends where you are. In NC we must use the wr receptacles outdoor as well as TR
