I have installed a meter socket on the outside of my new house as the power co. required. now i have too connect a disconnect switch inside within 6 feet as per their requirement then run wire from there to my main panel. It's a 200 Amp service and the disconnect switch is about a foot from the meter socket. The main breaker panel is about 40 feet from there. SO. (1) What size wire do I need from the meter to the disconnect switch and the disconnect switch to the main panel? And (2) does the wire from the disconnect switch to the main panel have to be in conduit? and (3) If the meter socket is grounded (which it is) Does the disconnect switch or the main have to be grounded to it or to each other or all kept seperate? thanks for any help Glenn
