Is anyone else having trouble renewing their license online? And did you read about how to properly request for a paper renewal application form....? are they serious? How do they manage to turn such a simple operation into a fiasco.

The licensing renual works fine but for some reason the site for the buisness permit renewal doesnt seem to work right. I am just curious if anyone else is having this problem. ....Let me see its mid Feb that makes it one, maybe two months to get it in to them. Thats gonna be a tight one....

I renewed mine at the beginning of Feb and got the hard copy of my license and bus permit within a week. You'll have to learn how to work your way around the website but unless a glitch recently developed I had no problem. BTW, there is a section where they mention the surity bond. They will send a hard copy request for that at a later date. Also, you'll have to make sure you have your CEU's complete before you complete the form. Some of the guys in my contractors association were audited last year and had to provide hard copy proof all CEU's they had to date.

Funny the instructor at my last CEU class said to check the completed CEU box even if you haven't yet because any verification will occur after the March 31st deadline.

Notice they accept major credit cards only, they don't trust contractors, what a great state we live in, that do anything, and everything to make it difficult for business to operate here.

Let your conscience be your guide. As long as you end up with 34 CEU's by the end of March I guess you're OK. However, if you're one of those who puts everything off til the last minute you'll have to spend a few $$ and a weekend in AC in classes. Good luck with that.
