Have you taken any exam prep classes? Those instructors seem to have some information as to what's on the test. Otherwise you just need to know everything. ;)

Sorry, just frustrated, but in all seriousness Mike Holt has an excellent exam prep book, the most important information in his book can be found in the first chapter where he goes over how to take a test. Take time to understand the layout of the code book, you?ll need to be able to find things quickly. It wouldn?t hurt to know some basic motor control wiring as well as various transformer and motor connections. Come here often read through threads, ask questions, don?t ask for answers, help yourself understand the code and be able to find your own answers.
Buy the business book, read through it, and familiarize yourself with the alarm code. The alarm code was tough several questions were asked about specific alarm devices, not only fire alarm stuff but intrusion alarm devices.
