Hey Guys I am new to join. I am taking the exam on Wednesday in New Jersey have prepped through Mike Holts guides and am confident in the code section. However I did not pay attention to the fact that they are using a 1999 Fire Alarm book I have a 2002 and have no clue where to buy a 1999. The test is on Wednesday and they are out of print any suggestions on where to buy or one of you guy want to sell yours? Or should I just go in with the 2002.

I sent you a message in your mailbox celtic just found the quick reply. I cannot get the books shipped on time for the Wednesday test. I will call the number you gave me but I called the company doing the test and they require a 99 nfpa for whatever reason. I will have to find one in NJ tommorrow or go in with a 02.

I just checked the http://www.prometric.com/ site.

On page 8 of this document:
(http://www.prometric.com/NR/rdonlyres/eev5ncb5zhfr33vntgne7a7rckenwedsnobvm2zmgg6pfmbqarrz2pxdvgavbj5zy32xayclxwx6xsbqjgraikvmz6a/NJElectricalContractorCIB20061006P.pdf)

On the right hand side 3/4 ways down:
Reference allowed that you may bring in the exam room
1 NFPA-72 ? National Fire Alarm Code, 1999 Edition,
1 Batterymarch Park, P.O. Box 9101, Quincy, MA
02269-9101, www.nfpa.org.

I don't think they will let you even bring the '02 in ...the worst that can happen is they hang onto it until the test is over...
