Well it was just a matter of time for one of the manufacturers to do this. I see some possibilities here. All depends on how well executed the product is. I wonder if it is measuring real power or just VA. One thing I note is that you can not reset or turn on a breaker (only off). That alone is sort of deal breaker.

Idk if it was you or someone else, but I remember reading that statement here some time ago.

I’m guessing this means they can update their AFCI’s instead of recalling them (or just ignoring) if they find out an error was made in the design.

One thing I note is that you can not reset or turn on a breaker (only off). That alone is sort of deal breaker.

That is disappointing. I was hoping they would have a motorized option like Power Logic breakers.
