Firstly, thanks for letting me lurk these forums for so long. It's due time I showed up and posted.
Looks like I'm going to pass my masters exam. I feel very confident about it. Now I'm looking ahead towards achieving my next goals and I don't have a clue as to how to get there. . . or a least I understand very little. I know the ins and out of creating a business (I still have a corp in place from a previous enterprise). I know I'll need to be bonded and insured to get a state contrators license. I have a couple thousand set aside just to get set up.
However, I don't know where to find request for bids, or how to bid. This is my greatest concern. Given my history in the field, I believe I would be best suited to bid small lease spaces. But in all my adventures I've never learned where the contractors I have worked for have come up with these jobs. I would want to ask my employer these questions as it would produce tension in our relationship.
I have many more questions that I'll save for another thread - another day.
