I think I remember seeing an emailfromn your site, concerning the new insulated throat connectors for mc cable that do not require the red insulator that has been used for years previously. Is this correct?
Anti-short bushings have never been required for MC cable, and cable connectors with an insulated throat are not required with MC cable either. Their use is optional at the discretion of the installer.
However, antishort bushings have always been required for type AC cable, and always will be.
