Just got turned down by Duke Energy for using a non MEG approved meter base as of 7/1/16. Does any body else have this same regulation? Because I have some meter bases for sale.

In New England we have similar requirements from our POCOs.
They have their own lists and that's what you need to use.

So, 15 pages and yours isn't on it?

It needs to have a MEG approved sticker on the outside of the base. I had old stock I guess even though it had a manufacture date of 4/6/16. After 7/1/16 that base is worthless around here. I asked the Duke inspector if I could just peel it off and stick it on mine. He did not think that was funny.

Go to your supplier. Get a refund.

The link is like everything else associated with Duke, it doesn't work.
