New poco rules

Local POCO issue a bulletin that states they are requiring a new 480 volt 2 wire single phase meter on street lighting disconnects. It is now required to install a 200 amp non fuse disconnect on the line side of this new meter. Stickers must be installed in the meter cans to read "NOTICE 480 VOLT 2 WIRE SINGLE PHASE TO GROUND"

Yes FPL. The new rules will be in thier next hand book. I have paper copies of a powerpoint presentation explaining it. Lee County is adopting now on Five inprogress projects. We must file RFI's and Change orders. It has to do with the future retrofit of LED Street lights which will happen. Seems they cannot Flate Rate charges using LED's. Present street lighting has no provisions for metering.
