I have a case of scope creep here.

An existing building and through the creep process, I now have to specify a new building service, generator and transfer switch. My load calculations for the existing building are oversizing the equipment. (Partly my habit of being conservative and not pushing the design envelope. ) There is no new equipment, just an interior remodel. I did have the exhaust fans changed to single phase since fractional hp 3 phase fan motors were ridiculous.

I have the power company billing for the last 2 years.
Can I apply article 220.87 if I meet all 3 conditions?

thanks for the help

Yes, but. . .

. . . you might not be aware that you might not meet the first condition.

You have to have maximum demand, not just monthly usage. You need the highest peak demand, in units of power (i.e., KW), not in units of energy (i.e., KW-HR.). Not all utilities give you that information on monthly bills.
