i need to provide power to a new building. currently have 200 amp underground residential service(1980). meter socket mounted on two wood post with plywood next to pad mount transformer 3 conductors of 250 kcmil go to 200 amp main breaker panel in home about 200 ft away load cald on home is 85 amps. new building is 20 ft from existing meter can i install 200 amp main breaker with feed through lugs and feed home from lugs(protected by 200 breaker) then feed new building with 100 amp breaker? does that turn both building panels into sub panels? grounding? grounding conductor to both? trigger surge protection and emergency disconnect?
