Although I've work on electrical systems for a decade I've never worked on equipement as old as what I've recently purchased. It's an old Wysong 10hp 3 phase mechanical shear. The motor says 200/400v but I used to working on motors 208/360/480. The motors I worked on had 3 phase power available. So I'm thinking about using a vfd or rotary phase converter, but have no experience with these. Any guidance would be appreciated. My last post got taken down cause a moderator doesn't think I'm qualified I guess.
