New Van

What you put on depends on your target market.

If you don't want to be known as a service-call EC, then don't put it on.

FWIW, my opinion is to only put enough information on a truck that a motorist can absorb in a few seconds. You've got enough on there now. I wouldn't add anything. But that's just me. Some folks want to see how many words they can cram on their truck.

Ok, just bought a nused van for the company.
I had my sign guy do a proof for me.

What do you all think?
Be real. I want the good, the bad, and the ugly (iWire seems to come to mind... don't know why...)

I'm thinking of taking off the 24 hour service part.

Thanks,

Greg

Too much info. Keep it simple Loose the "for all your commercial and residential needs" and the 24 hour service. Save that for the yellow pages and the business cards.

I am not sure about the laws in your state, but in MA the law is, if you advertise, your company name has to be exactly what is on your license and the license number has to be displayed also.

Why are the sides different? Why does it say free estimates? Where is your guarantee? What is your positioning statement? Give them a quick reason to write your number as opposed to checking the phone book.

I would dump the Free Estimates and 24 Hour service and put in this:
268510520

"May the Schwartz be with you.":D

In the sides different - do you mean colors? I think it's that they somewhat luminescent - and I was just to post that I think that's pretty cool!

Greg - Like it!

Somethin doesn't look right on passenger side of van, the Swartz part should go all the way across, and get rid of the free estimate part. Kinda splits the van up in sections the way you have it and it looks unbalanced

Thats just how I see it though

besides that, The driver side looks sharp

You know....Some folks dont like vans, but I love mine. One button and its Locked, everything is dry and stays in new condition. I have about the same amount of graphics on mine. I agree, keep the graphics BIG, SIMPLE, and Just, What the "Looker" can absorb, as you drive through a intersection....nothing more.....haha I drive through intersections SLOW so they can absorb it ALL.....Hey its free !!

Both sides need to be the same. don't go smaller on the passanger side and break it all up, the driver side is great. don't give free estimates. put it on the back as well. I would just have bullets for commercial and residential not a sentence.

I like mine.

Looks good to me. Company name is clearly visable.

You mispelled schwantz though.

We have big spaces to work with so we write crap all over the vans and people often stand there and read it. "Wow...you do all that stuff?"

Yes maam. We do photo cells, recessed lighting, CCTV, service upgrades blah blah blah.

Put your cell # on the back and someone might call you while sitting in traffic. Could be a good lead or they could want to cuss you out for cutting them off.

I love it. Next van.

The same guy was selling the extra long / tall sprinter I was talking about in another thread. About $15k. Which was too much for me to spend right now.
I'm saving up to buy an office from one of the local ECs that isn't doing too well.

He has about 1400 sqft for $160k range, and a place to park vans and is zoned just right...

You just got into copyright trouble posting that pic. I've never liked vans because all of the rattling that goes on with them, make great billboards though.

What rattling? hang on a minute let me turn the radio down....

hmm.

that proof looks eerily similar to the ones my wife's been sending out from our new venture.

good choice on the sign company greg.

Looks like I could have just as easily walked through your doors. The stores look remarkably similar.

Sign-A-Rama is the company that uses my services. I don't shop around, and I KNOW there are less expensive companies out there. But he doesn't shop around either. And there are less expensive electrical contractors.

This same guy did my truck, my office signs, my street signs. I know his work. And for me, it's worth it.

And for those of you out there that do not have their information on their vehicles... it is the least expensive advertising you will ever find. Dollar for dollar, my truck gets more calls than any other advertising.
