New water heater circuit

This question regards installing a new circuit for a new 50 gallon 240V 4,500 Watt electric water heater. This heater is replacing an old propane model. I think what's needed is a double sided 240V 30A breaker with 10 guage wire in the circuit. Can anyone advise please?

Your profile says that you are a distributor.

I don't want to tell someone who may or may not be qualified to do the work how to do it, I think it would be irresponsible of me.

Let me ask you then.....why do you ask?

I suggest you advise the customer to hire a qualified electrician to make the installation.
