If you have a Master Electrician's license.. the AHJ might grandfather you into getting an NYS Alarm License.. good luck..

No such luck. I just don't want to have to go all the way to long island for 4 weekends. Funny
Thing is I was talking to a small town inspector who told me there was no licensing for burglar alarms. I had to show her on the states website.

Having to travel for the schooling you need is going to be the best investment you could ever make.. bite the bullet and put it behind you..
The longer you wait changes nothing in the big picture other than the money you are losing out on..
