I am running 6/2 NM wire good to 55 amps. With a continuous duty factor my load is 52 amps. I am allowed to put this on a 60 amp breaker, correct?
 
Yes, the next size up rule in 240.4(B) would allow the 60 amp OCPD on a 55 amp conductor.
