NFPA 70E working space and 50 KVDC equipment

All,

I am still struggling with the working space distance requirements. Please tell what you think about the following. I have several high voltage test stands that are running at 50 KVDC which are side by side with removable side and back panels (test and service access). How would you interpret the working space requirement from the NFPA 70E working space charts? At 50 KVDC would the condition three 10-foot spacing be correct or the condition two 8-foot spacing correct? Or neither?

Assuming the equipment is side by side and removing panels directly opposite one another from each piece of equipment will expose live components; follow condition 3. Otherwise follow Condition 1 or 2, whichever applies. Table 400.21 in NFPA70E is identical to Table 110.34(A) in NFPA70 NEC.
