I have a question about an external supply to an electrical cabinet. We have 120V ran to a machine's electrical cabinet from a breaker panel. A label is on the outside stating voltage still present with machine power off and the wires are color coded orange. In section 5.3.2 of the NFPA 79 it gives examples of disconnecting devices. Will an enclosed lockable disconnect switch inside of the cabinet suffice? It will be labeled in the prints with a disclaimer. I'm just asking because it only mentioned a listed molded case switch or circuit breaker. I wasn't sure if it needed to be an OCPD.
