I've noticed this morning that the Free Online Access to the NFPA documents is no longer available. I just reviewed a document yesterday. All the links to that service are gone. Anyone know what's going on?

I'm having the same problem. I hope this is not a permanent change. I enjoyed using it when I didn't have my code book with me. :?

I just got to it from your link. There is a blue link on that page which got me a list of documents. I clicked NFPA 70, and agreed to something and got another page with details about NFPA 70. The preview was on that page.

If the link from Celtic doesn't work for you, then,
  • Start at NFPA.org
  • On the top blue line with white letters, select "Codes & Standards"
  • Near the bottom, left column of options marked by red > symbol, select "Code Development Process"
  • Near the bottom, right column of options marked by red > symbol, select "Online Access"
  • Near the bottom, select item number 1, "Visit NFPA's Document Information Page."
  • Scroll to NFPA 70, "National Electrical Code."
  • Near the bottom, select "Preview this Document."
  • Near the bottom, select ?Open National Electrical Code Softbound 2005 Edition (NFPA 70)
Two things worth noting:
1. You will have to agree with their terms and conditions, in order to view the NEC.
2. You will not be able to print, copy, or search through any part of the document.
