NFPA Lost 1300 web orders for 2005 NEC

I was waiting patiently for my 2005 NEC from the NFPA, I ordered it Sept 9. Called today and the person told me they lost about 1300 web orders and they had no record of mine. From the NFPA it cost me $58 as a member and I can get at local wholesale house for $40 -50.
Mike Holt has the sprial bound versions, or you can have quick print store cut the binding off and put in a coil binding so it lays flat.

Seems to me they should be able to locate the payment and give you credit. Or you should be able to send them proof of payment? I picked up mine at the Western IAEI confrance in Iowa. But it was at the IAEI booth.

Tom,
I also waited patiently for the NFPA delivery until last week when Barnes & Noble had 4 in stock. I finally received the NEC on Oct 26th and was going to reject the FED X delivery. Instead I took the copy back to B & N for a refund. I understand from NFPA sales that the Publisher had a run of faulty bindings as the reason for delay.
